I appreciate Fables taking a momentary detour from the over all current story. No dark man, no worries. Just summer-time baseball. And murder. And summer-time baseball and murder and goblins!

I didn’t love it, but did like the diversion. The heaviness of late has happily broken up the dreary state things have turned to with the Fables. It would be interesting if Blackest Night had taken just one or two episodes of some title and created a happy-go-lucky story arc, parallel to the overall plot. Don’t know just thinkin’. I look forward to the next one.
